What is the mission of the Galactic Public Archives?

The Galactic Public Archives were founded in 2045 CE in order to serve the mission of distributing information across the galaxy. The current focus of GPA programming is: Visions of the Future, from Our Past.

This series takes an in-depth look at visionaries of the 20th and early 21st century who presented compelling visions of a future in which technology, culture & values had shifted dramatically from the time & culture in which they lived. These thinkers provide views of the future that were simultaneously hopeful and also a little bit terrifying to those who listened - those listeners having the daunting task of trying to parse rational analysis from prophecy. Through the words & voices of these men and women, viewers get a glimpse of the mind’s ability for foresight, but also, insight into the hopes, dreams & fears of those who lived during this era.
